Welcome

Thanks for visiting my pilates blog! I've been teaching in West Chester for just over 5 years to an amazing group of women and men. These classes were originally designed to combine the two forms of exercise that I love most, Pilates and Running. Now, I not only offer the original combination class, with the optional group run, but also 50 minute mat pilates classes. Look around the blog to learn more!

Pricing

6 class card = $75, valid for 2 months from date of issue

12 class card = $135, valid for 2 months from date of issue (ideal for those attending class 2+ times/week)

Drop in rate = $15/class

25% student discount with valid student ID

Private Lesson Package

Have a baby or young child at home? Too busy to get to class? Can't make any of the classes offered? Or just like a more personalized class? If so, this is for you!

What: 6 sessions where I come to you, we will set up convenient days and times that fit into your schedule. run+pilates or just pilates, your choice!

Cost: $300 for 6 sessions of pilates (60 minutes). OR $360 for 6 session of run+pilates (90 minutes). You can keep it as a one on one session...... or have up to 5 friends join you and split the cost.

Individual Private Lessons

If you aren't interested in a Private Lesson Package, you can also purchase individual Private Lessons. This is a great option for those wanting to have some one-on-one time prior to starting in a the class setting.

Also, great for Girls Night Out!

Individual Private Lesson: $75/lesson for 1 hour

Class location

Classes are currently being held at the West Chester Friends School on the corner of High and Marshall in downtown West Chester - SUNDAY, TUESDAY nights and WEDNESDAY mornings.

MONDAY and FRIDAY classes are at Barefoot Yoga in Thornton. See link for directions.

GSC CLASSES

These classes are for county employees and offered at the Government Services Center.

6 classes over an 8 week sessions.

40 minute class from 12:10-12:50. Cost is $50 for all 6 classes or $10 drop in charge.

About Me

Beth Smith: My appreciation for Pilates began years ago after the birth of my children. Pilates was a form of exercise that I could do anywhere at anytime. Pilates not only changed my body by creating longer and leaner muscles, but it has allowed me to accomplish things that I never thought possible. About 3 years after I became dedicated to pilates, I began running. Having never been a runner, I was able to jump right into the sport due to the breathing techniques that I learned through pilates and a stronger core allowed me more strength. I have gone on to complete many races, ranging from 5K’s to 34 mile Ultra races. I believe this is something that I would never have accomplished without the benefits of pilates. Today, I teach and share my love for this exercise with all types of people, all with different goals. Some want to improve their running, tennis or golf game, to change the look and feel of their bodies, to stay toned and strong. Whatever the reason, I enjoy teaching this amazing form of exercise. With dedication and determination, Pilates can change the way you play your sport and it can give you a stronger, leaner, more defined body.
